I realized most of the hotels in NY and NJ you help your self with the luggage bag . Beautiful Manhattan Skyline from the rooftop. Path station and light rail in front of the hotel. 5 min to World Trade Center. Stander Breakfast not a lot of variety. Clean room and full kitchen equipment. Stuff are professional. I had a great memory here.
Great place to stay. The staff was very nice and personable. Yummy continental breakfast and a amazing view of NYC, while you eat.
I will not be staying here again. I chose to stay at Hyatt House because it was an important night for me and my girlfriend as Friday night, June 1st was the night that I asked her to marry me. When I called the hotel to make the reservation, I asked if they were able to do anything inside the room that would make it special. A simple congratulations note or something similar. I was assured from the representative from your hotel that they knew exactly what to do and would have the room special. When we arrived, to my surprise, there was nothing done. In addition, the next morning when we went to make coffee as is our routine, there was only one coffee mug. I unfortunately needed to drink coffee out of a water glass. I chose Hyatt House for your reputation and unfortunately our stay at your hotel failed to meet expectations on the most important night of our lives.
Bad bar service. A number a people have complained about the slow and rude service at the roof top bar area. Im not sure Hyatt is actually taking this seriously. Myself and another gentleman simply wanted to order drinks and were discriminated against. We sat at the bar as other patrons were served no one at the bar even acknowledged our presence. When i brought it there attention they told me to leave without explaining why. I had been there a number of times without any issue even though the service the continues to be the worst in the area. I normally deal with Jean Pierre the rooftop manager but he was unavailable. It's sad that such a good place is ruined by rude and unprofessional service.
